Peyto Glacier, Alberta

Peyto Glacier is one of the best studied glaciers in North America with detailed studies having been conducted annually since 1966.  It is also one of the World Glacier Monitoring Service‘s 30 global benchmark glaciers.  Peyto Glacier is readily viewed from the Icefields Parkway in Banff National Park.
